PRESS RELEASE

Technology News.

Effective January 1, 2010 Ed Morando will be offering license options for intellectual property owned by long time friend and business colleague, Salvatore Celeste, president and CEO of Additive Advantage.

Mr. Celeste has been successfully involved in microencapsulation research since 1992 and has developed and manufactured microencapsulation equipment and materials for several well-known pharmaceutical companies and other research facilities.

Ed Morando writes I’m absolutely delighted to be part of this exciting, new technology which is absolutely unlike anything you've ever seen before. This remarkably advanced delivery system provides a new and incredibly versatile method of imparting flavor enhancers, (flavorings) masking agents, medicinal additives, pharmaceuticals, fragrances, vitamins, colorants, homeopathic and herbal remedies, appearance and characteristic modifiers and other ingredients to a variety of beverages and foods including coffee, juices, teas and soft-drinks in a way that is sure to make your product line stand out from all the others!

FLAVORENES are specially designed to release flavorings and other additives to any food or beverage when the microcapsules are exposed to a specific activating agent. These agents can be liquids, gases, changes in pH or temperature, tactile contact and countless other release mechanisms that may be tailored to a specific application. Examples may include but are not limited to, substrates such as drip coffee filters in any embodiment or the interior wall of any disposable container such as a paper cup. The clusters are usually printed in a dot pattern having a size and shape that will facilitate the proper proportional distribution of the inner-phase material to be released.

Examples are available and demonstrate how flavorant microcapsule clusters can be printed to form patterns accentuating product brand recognition. The microcapsule carrier (shell), as well as the flavor content can be pigmented to produce full color logos and other graphic designs introduce a unique marketing opportunity.
Upon introduction I am confident that marketing executives will immediately begin thinking of new ways of implementing these fantastic new innovations.
